Description
I had been tracking one owl from a field across the road when it flew away and landed on the other side. I was just preparing to photograph the owl in the field, when it flew into the air. It took me a second to realize that another owl had swooped in and they were chasing each other in the air. It happened so fast that I still can't believe that I managed to capture it! Seeing this was incredible, but capturing it was truly a once in a lifetime shot! It was in the midst of a snow and wind storm, so focusing on moving animals in that was one of the hardest things I've ever done.
